Practice Team
Our primary health care team work closely together to
offer a safe and accessible service. The Doctors are involved in the
development and improvement of local health services. Our Practice
Nurses provide general nursing cover for us.

Health Professionals Attached to the Health Centre
The Doctors
Dr Adrian Dalton MA (Cantab) MB BChir DRCOG
Registered in 1978, Dr Dalton works 8 sessions a week. He has been
a GP in Datchet since 1982 and continues to have a strong interest
in the development of health care within the local community. Adrian
has a special interest in the management of diabetes. He is a member
of the practice Patient Participation Group and the Walking for
Health group.
Dr Nicola Wallbank MA (Cantab) MB B Chir MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP
LoC CIUT
Nicola registered in 1992 and works 5 sessions a week at the
practice. She has an interest in women's health and family planning
and is a member of the Antenatal Screening Board at Wexham Park
Hospital. Nicola takes a lead role in the practice on women's health
issues, antenatal and postnatal care, sexual health and childhood
screening and prevention. She runs the coil fitting service at
the practice.
Dr Mick Watts MBBS (Lon) DipMedAc MRCGP
Registered in 1986 and works eight sessions a week. Dr Watts is the
Practice lead to the Riverside locality group. He has special
interests in IT and medico-legal issues as a Law Society checked
Expert Witness. Mick ran the London Marathon in April 2003 as part
of TeamFlora - running with Dr Mark Porter of TV fame and Lucy
Benjamin (aka Lisa from Eastenders) - raising £3000 for British Heart
Foundation.
Dr Martin Chan BSc MBBS (Lon) DRCOG MRCGP
Registered in 1998 (Guys and St. Thomas') Martin joined the practice
as a partner in 2001 and works 7 sessions per week. He has a special
interest in health promotion.
Dr Sufian Jabbar
MBBS (London), BSc (Hons), DRCOG, DCH, MRCGP
Registered in 2002
Dr Jabbar joined the practice in December 2006 as a salaried GP and
works 6 sessions a week. He has special interests in diabetes,
occupational health and training. Outside work he enjoys playing
squash, football and cricket.
Dr Corinne Shepherd BSc MBChB MRCGP
Dr Shepherd registered in 2002 (Manchester). She joined the practice
in February 2007 as a salaried GP and works 7 sessions a week. She
has a special interest in women's health and family planning.
Outside of work she enjoys singing, piano playing and hill walking.

The Nursing Team
Our District Nursing team of community nurses provide a high level
of support for patients who are unable to come to the surgery.
Practice Nurse Jeanette Saunders
RGN
 Jeanette has considerable broad nursing experience including child
health, women's health, asthma and diabetic training. She is one of
our highly experienced Practice Nurses and a very valuable team
member.
Practice Nurse Jackie Gumme
RGN
 Jackie is one of our experienced Practice Nurses. She takes a lead
role in cardiology in the practice. Jackie has a special interest in
coronary heart disease and runs a specialist INR clinic at the
practice. She also runs our Quit Smoking Service. Contact her at the
practice if you want to discuss giving up the evil fags!
Practice Nurse Rhoda Healey
 Rhoda works one day a week visiting our over 75 year old patients in
their own homes.
Practice Nurse Kathy Young
RGN
Kathy is a very experienced nurse who offers a specialist women's
health clinic on Wednesday mornings.
Specialist
Respiratory Nurse Sister Cathy O'Brien

Cathy is our
specialist respiratory nurse. She runs clinics every Thursday for
people with emphysema, chronic bronchitis and more complex asthma.
Treatment Room Nurse Danielle Young

Danielle
provides all the routine nursing services and supports the work of
our practice nurses admirably. She is a valued team member.
Phlebotomist
Lesley Bullock

Lesley provides in-house blood test clinics for our patients and is
a valuable new addition to the nursing team.

The Administrative Team
Our Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager work to support
the team and are pleased to help with enquiries about the running of
our practice.
Practice Manager
Karen Holmes
 Karen is a successful career Practice Manager
and has a proven track record of improving primary care services.
She has a particular interest in practice development. Karen is a
member of the Patient Participation Group and a founder member of
the Walking for Health Group.
Assistant Practice Manager Liz Randall
 Liz works closely with our practice manager and is responsible for
many senior administrative roles in the practice. She has
demonstrated a flair for management and is a most valuable team
member. Liz has achieved a Diploma in Practice Management and works
closely alongside Aimi and Karen as part of the management team.
Business Manager Aimi Bullock
 Aimi is a
qualified accountant and joined the practice in February 2005 to
improve our business systems and ensure proper financial management
of the practice.
Our Secretarial Support team work very hard to turn around the huge
amount of correspondence created in modern General Practice.
Our team of receptionists work hard to provide access to the Primary
Health Care team, and a friendly and supportive service to our patients.

Professionals Attached to the Practice
Health Visitor
Beth Mulcahy

Beth works with young children and families in the community and
offers developmental checks as appropriate.
Community Midwife
Seb Barnett

Our community midwife helps to run antenatal clinics and classes and
visits mothers with new-born babies at home.
Seb runs clinics at the Health Centre on Tuesday afternoons,
Thursday mornings and alternate Wednesday mornings.
The team approach of the Riverside Midwifery Service offers
women-centred care that respects, values and supports informed
maternal choice.
Community Nurse
Surinder Chima
 Surinder is our senior District Nursing Sister. With her team she
provides an invaluable service in the community and is a very valued
member. Often a thankless role, Surinder manages her team very
effectively, and we are very grateful to her for all her hard work.
Community Nurse Helen Beaumont
 Helen is a very experienced district nurse who is much valued by the
team and works very hard in the community.
