Emis Access Online Services
EMIS is the UK's leading IT supplier in primary healthcare, hosting
over 39 million electronic patient records (EPRs) within its systems.
Around 55 per cent of doctors in the UK currently use EMIS software each
day.
The award-winning EMIS Access enables patients to book appointments at
their GP surgery over the internet. Patients can view, book, or cancel
appointments online and often find it very useful for those times when
the practice is closed or telephone lines are busy.
The latest EMIS Access feature allows patients to request repeat
prescriptions from the comfort of their own home. Without visiting the
practice, patients can use the internet to quickly order any repeat
prescriptions that are due. EMIS Access delivers the request directly to
the practice, and once processed, patients can simply collect the
prescription from the practice or nominated local Pharmacy.

have access to your personal registration information. Please read the
information below.
To obtain your registration information
To register for this service please ask the receptionist for a
website registration form, which generates a PIN number to enable you to
set up access from your own computer.
First time use of emis access online services
- Click on
https://www.emisaccess.co.uk/signup/signup_a.aspx and follow
the log-on instructions.
- You will be asked to create an account.
- You will be prompted for your personal login details, which will
be on your registration letter, previously obtained from the
surgery.
- You can then register and use the online services.
